The Class 3×3 Russian Decoder is a high-precision tool created specifically for opening Class 3×3 Russian Decoder double-bit lever locks. These locks use six levers in a 3+3 configuration. This manual tool works quickly and safely, without damaging the lock. It uses self-impressioning to decode the lock’s internal structure and replicate the original key profile.

What the kit includes?
The decoder operates using the self-impressioning method. It gently mimics the shape of the original key. With light vibration and pressure, the Soft key pins adapt to the internal levers and lift them into the correct position.
This process does not damage or alter the lock. Once decoded, the Soft key functions like the original.
1. Insert the Tension Tool
Place the Tension tool into the lock, following the direction of the notch. This simulates the torque of a real key.
2. Insert the First Soft Key
Insert the first Soft key into the opposite side of the keyway. Its movable pins align with the lock’s internal levers.
3. Apply Gentle Vibrations
Slightly rotate and shake both tools. This movement allows the pins to match the correct bitting of the original key.
4. Check for Progress
You’ll feel less resistance when the first side is successfully decoded. Don’t force it—this is a good sign.
5. Use the Second Soft Key
Remove the first key. Insert the second one and repeat the process for the other half of the lock.
6. Turn the Key to Unlock
Once both sides are decoded, turn the Soft key 90° to open the lock—just like using a real key.
Should a pin become bent or misaligned during use, it’s extremely easy to service.
Simply unscrew the bottom bolt of the Soft key,
Remove the damaged pin,
And replace it with one of the spares included in the kit.
This quick-swap design ensures minimal downtime and keeps your tool working like new.
