The Metem 3+3 Russian Locks Decoder is a professional manual tool built for fast and precise work. It handles double-bit Metem 3+3 locks with six levers arranged in a 3+3 layout.
By using the self-impressioning method, you open the lock quickly and without damage with the Metem 3+3 Russian locks. At the same time, you can read the key code—no disassembly needed.
What the kit includes?
The Metem 3+3 Russian locks mimics the internal bitting of the original key. As you rotate and adjust, the Soft Keys adapt in real time inside the lock. Therefore, you achieve accurate and repeatable decoding with each use.
1. First, Insert the Tension Tool
Begin by inserting the tension tool into the lock. Align it with the lock tongue (the notch). This step applies torque, just like turning a real key.
2. Next, Insert the First Soft Key
From the opposite side of the tension tool, insert the first Soft Key. It matches the original Metem key in size and shape. Meanwhile, its movable pins respond immediately to the internal levers.
3. Then, Rotate and Shake
While maintaining light tension, rotate the Soft Key 90°. At the same time, gently shake both the Soft Key and the tension tool. This motion allows the pins to align with the lock’s inner configuration.
4. After That, Complete the First Turn
Once the pins find their positions, the Soft Key turns freely. This confirms the first half of the key profile.
5. Now, Insert the Second Soft Key
Repeat the process using the second Soft Key. This step completes the second half of the profile.
6. Finally, Unlock the Lock
With both sides decoded, you now hold a complete double-bit key. Use it to unlock and relock the Metem 3×3 as easily as the original key.
