"Mottura" 6x6
The Mottura Nucleo Compact 6 Prima Decoder is a specialized self-impressioning tool, professionally designed for use with the Mottura Nucleo Compact interchangeable core double bit lock system. This model is compatible with 6-pin locks that do not feature antipick cuts.
This decoder allows professional locksmiths to open and decode the lock in a completely non-destructive way. Once decoded, the tool replicates the internal key profile, enabling you to use it as a duplicate key for repeated access.
What the kit includes?
The Mottura Nucleo Compact 6 Prima Decoder uses a manual self-impressioning method, which allows the Soft Keys to shape themselves to match the exact biting of the original key through vibration and torque.
Insert the Tension Tool
Position the tension tool into the lock in the same direction as the lock notch (lock tongue).
This applies consistent rotational force, simulating the action of a real key.
Insert the First Soft Key with Pins
Insert the Soft Key from the opposite side of the tension tool.
The Soft Key is designed to match the physical geometry of the original Mottura key.
Impression the First Turn
While applying torque with the tension tool, gently rotate the Soft Key 90° while slightly shaking both tools.
This movement causes the pins to respond to the internal levers and automatically align to the correct positions.
Switch to the Second Soft Key
Repeat the process with the second Soft Key to decode the other half of the lock.
After decoding both sides, you now have a complete double-bit key profile.
Unlock the Lock
Once decoding is complete, the decoder functions just like the original key—allowing you to open and close the lock smoothly.
