The SAM 4×4 отмычка Classic Decoder is a precision self-impressioning tool developed specifically for the older model of the Russian SAM 4×4 double-bit lock, which features 8 levers in a 4×4 pin configuration and no antipick cuts. This manual decoder enables professional locksmiths to open and decode the lock quickly, cleanly, and without damage.
What the kit includes?
The decoder operates using the manual self-impressioning technique, which relies on vibration and tension to align the pins with the lock’s internal levers. This process replicates the original key’s profile from within the lock.
Insert the Tension Tool
Insert it into the lock in the same direction as the lock notch (lock tongue).
This simulates the torque of a real key.
Insert the First Soft Key
Insert from the opposite direction of the tension tool.
The Soft Key matches the dimensions and geometry of the original SAM 4×4 key and contains movable pins for self-adjustment.
Rotate and Impression
Apply light turning pressure and rotate the Soft Key 90° while gently shaking both tools together.
The pins begin to respond to the internal levers, gradually adjusting into the correct positions.
First Half Complete
Once the pins are aligned, the lock will begin to turn. This indicates that the first half of the key profile is decoded.
Insert Second Soft Key
Repeat the same impressioning process with the second Soft Key to complete the second half of the profile.
You now have a fully formed double-bit profile capable of operating the lock.
