This Topolino decoder can open locks of the following types:
"HERACLES" Y8
The Manual Self-Impressioning Decoder TOPOLINO is designed to open and decode the Heracles Y8 cylinder lock with precision.
Important: Use this tool only on the Heracles Y8 model. It is not suitable for other cylinder locks.
Because this decoder is specially engineered for the Y8 profile, its structure matches the lock’s design. The pick includes a blade with five uniquely shaped pins, arranged in a specific order that corresponds exactly to the Y8 cylinder. (You can see the details in the demonstration video.)
The tool is assembled with secure bolts. Do not tighten or adjust these bolts, as doing so will damage the decoder and prevent it from functioning properly.
Insert the blade of the Topolino into the Reset Cap , the two arrows must match their position (watch the video). Slide back the Slider. Reset with the Reset hex key ALL 5 pins (push them all the way in). Slide to the front the slider. The decoder is ready to be used.
No tool can open every lock. A universal decoder simply does not exist. The operator must understand the specific cylinder lock they want to open, so a basic level of locksmith knowledge is essential.
These lockpick tools work without force. You apply steady, medium tension while the tool positions each pin of the cylinder lock to the correct height. Step by step, the pins align until they match the position of the original key.
At that moment, the tool creates a complete double-bit profile. You can then use this profile to open and close the lock exactly like the real key.
