L1 JLR Key Programming Device via OBD II 2010 – 2017

The L1 JLR stand alone key programming device is designed to program additional original keys to the new Land Rover/Jaguar (JLR) vehicles via OBD II even if all keys are lost. The device supports CAN based models from 2010 on. The programming of the key can be done in 15 seconds if there are no errors in air transmitting of the signal from the intelligent key to the car. And if there are errors, then the programming may take about 25 seconds after repeating some steps from the programming procedure. And you can program a maximum of 8 keys in the car immobilizer memory.

With the new software update from 2016 for the JLR vehicles with changed KVM module you will need our special key emulator to generate a working key in order to start the vehicle. When you buy our full version of L1 device, you will get one emulator free and you must pay for every extra one you want to get.

L2 JLR Key Programming Device via OBD II 2010 – 2015

The L2 stand alone key programming device is designed to program additional original keys to the new Land Rover/Jaguar (JLR) vehicles via OBD II even if all keys are lost. The device supports CAN based models from 2010 on. The programming of the key is done in 15 seconds if there are no errors in air transmitting of the signal from the intelligent key to the car. IMPORTANT!!  This device can be updated in the future via internet for models from 2016 and up.

Programmer DIAG v10.2

Programmer Diag v10.2 is an extended version of programmer Diag v10.1 with an option of Mode ( E ) Emergency Start Engine with alarm armed 2012-2018

mode /E/

-Land Rover Evoque 2012-2018
-Land Rover Discovery Sport 2015-2018
-Jaguar F-type, XJ 2014-2018
-Jaguar F-Pace, XE 2016-2017
-Jaguar XF 2015-12/2016
-Range Rover Sport, Vogue 2013-12/2016 (version 16.5)

-plug device in Mode (E) to the OBD2 socket
-the LED will light on red and you will hear a short beep for 3-5 seconds, then the LED will change color to green
and will start to blink very fast, which means that the connection with the car is OK and the car is ready to start
-press the Start button on the console and start the engine
( if the LED blinks very slow, around 1 time in 1 second, it means that this car model is not supported )
After starting the engine, you can unplug the device from OBD2
If you turn off the engine and want to start again, you must plug the device into the OBD2 socket again

Programming Key Emulator
Works with all models of JLR with alarm armed from 2010 up to 05/2016
and 05/2016-2017 with alarm disarmed
Programming manual:
-plug the device in MODE 0, into the OBD2 socket
-alarm system will be turned off after 2-3 seconds
-hold the Key Emulator to the steering column (all models have a special point on the steering column with
hidden antenna inside, left side of column, three small plastic belts on plastic case)
-If you hear a long beep from the device in the next few seconds, push the START button on the console. Do
this during a long beep or in the next 2-3 seconds because if you wait too long, the device won’t add the Key
Emulator to the car

Mode / 1 /

Programming one key to the car with not blocked KVM module,with alarm armed or
disarmed. Works with models 2010 – 03/2015 with KVM module DPLA…
and 2015-2016 with KVM module FK72 … only version not blocked
Programming Manual:
-connect the device in MODE 1, to the OBD2 socket
-You will hear one short beep, it means there is a connection with the car
-after the second short beep, press the OPEN button on the remote control and hold until the central lock
goes open and emergency lights blink and light up the dashboard for a moment.
This operation will take 7-10 seconds

Programming two new keys to the car with not blocked KVM module FK72… 2015/2016
and KVM module HPLA… 2017
(use this option after changing the KVM of the car for new one, only module version RFA 31.1.)
Not working with version GK72, JPLA 2018, J9C3 2018

Programming Manual:
-connect the device in MODE 2, to the OBD2 socket
-You will hear one short beep, it means there is a connection with the car
-then You will hear a long beep, during this long beep press the OPEN button on the first remote control
and hold it until the end of the sound or until the blinking emergency lights and open the central locking
-then you hear another long beep, press the OPEN button on the second remote control and hold it until
the end of the sound
-after programming correctly two keys, the dashboard will light up for a few seconds
Warning! It is necessary to program two keys immediately!

Mode / 3 /

Change the KVM module, type FK72-19H440-… on the new one, not adapted before and
version RFA 31.1. only
– plug the new KVM module into the car
– plug the device in MODE 3, into the OBD2 socked
– during the programming red LED light will be flashing, and the dashboard will light up for a moment
-if you see a green LED light on the device, this means that the procedure is done. The operation will take
up to two minutes
-unplug the device, change inside on MODE 2 and add two new keys

Special function for TEST. This mode will turn on th dashboard without a key in the car

Additional information about Mode ( 0 ):
-After the first programming, the Key Emulator will work all the time in the car. If you want to start the
engine you must hold the Key Emulator to the steering column and push the start button on the console
-The remote in the Key Emulator will not be working
-You can use the Key Emulator to many cars
-The Device works on all cars with the new KVM module FK72
-The Device works only with our Key Emulator
If you can not find a place with a hidden antenna on the steering column, after the device is connected to
the OBD2, you must press Start and information about the hidden antenna will be displayed on the
dashboard. After this sometimes you have to repeat the programming procedure
Programmer DIAG v10.2 in MODE 0 works on cars JLR 2010-05/2016 with alarm armed
and cars after 05/2016-2017 if alarm is disarmed
The latest function Emergency Start Engine Mode (E) works with all JLR cars with alarm armed
